Precautions after surgery
Postoperative care for sleepy eyes
- Follow your post-operative instructions carefully, including keeping the tape in place to prevent recurrence.
- Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking for about 4 weeks after surgery to increase the risk of inflammation.
- Avoid strenuous exercise after surgery as it may cause swelling.
- Be careful not to rub your eyes until the surgical site has stabilized.
